2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

• Account information: your name, email address, Google account identifier, and basic profile information received through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.
• Learning and profile data: English learning level, vocabulary progress, reading story progress, promotion test progress, streaks, study activity, app preferences, and related learning records created while using the app.
• Social and group data: friend codes, friend requests, friend lists, group membership, group progress, group activity, and other information you create or share through group and friend features.
• Notification data: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens, device identifiers needed for push notifications, and notification preferences.
• Technical and security data: app, device, log, authentication, diagnostics, and security information needed to run Firebase services and protect the app.
• Advertising data: advertising identifiers, device information, app interaction data, and related data processed by Google AdMob to show ads and measure ad performance.

3. How We Use Information

• To sign you in and manage your account.
• To save, sync, and show your learning progress.
• To provide vocabulary, reading, testing, friend, and group features.
• To send reminders or push notifications when enabled.
• To show ads where the app uses advertising.
• To improve app reliability, security, and performance.
• To detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and respond to support.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may process or share information with service providers that help operate the app, including Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Cloud Functions, other Firebase services, and Google AdMob. These providers process data under their own privacy and security terms.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for personal and sensitive user data, including secure cloud services and restricted access where appropriate. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Retention and Deletion

Account, learning, friend, group, and notification data may remain stored while your account is active or as needed to provide app features. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete cloud-stored account data.

You may request deletion of your Lingo Asira account and associated app data at any time using our account deletion page. We may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

7. Your Choices

You may choose not to provide certain information, disable app notifications in your device settings, and manage Google account permissions or advertising choices through your device or Google account settings. Some app features may not work without required account or progress data.

8. Children's Privacy

Lingo Asira is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
